Our work
A lot goes on behind the scenes of Education Otherwise. We work closely with the Government, the media, and local authorities. By encouraging a greater understanding of home education, we promote and protect the rights of home educating families.
Our funding
As a charity, we rely solely on donations from our generous home education community and other individuals who feel strongly about our right to choose how we educate our children.
All funds Education Otherwise receives are spent on the charity’s running costs. For example, paying for the freephone advice line, the online costs for this website and relevant training for our Trustees and Volunteers. Our Trustees and Volunteers are unpaid for the work they do. We all work together for the common aim of keeping the choice of home education open for all.
